Current Work.

The Music Box Project converts visible landscapes into audible landscapes. Through this project, art viewers will be able to experience the "audio aesthetic" of landscapes found in the Interior West.

In this initial phase of the project, landscapes are meticulously mapped out onto music box paper and played through a 30 note mechanized music box. Shown above is Winter Ridge near Summer Lake, Oregon, displayed at the Umpqua Valley Arts Association.

Work is under way to construct a large music machine which will play these landscapes on a custom marimba.
